Baby Sister

Today, I asked my little brother Manfred to drive me to school and wait for me at the mall, while I attend class. I was so happy when he immediately said yes.

When my class was over, I met him at the mall for dinner. I had him take several outfit photos also for this blog, before going back home.

Hi!

First Day

Today, I went to school for the first day of my last schoolyear. I'm already a senior! Yay! :)

I went to school in a mullet skirt, a lacy top, my Coach bag (gift from Nikko) and my pink Carrie pumps! Nikko picked me up and we had dinner at the Healthy Shabu Shabu (our favorite Powerplant restaurant!)

Here are some photos:

Lacy top - Greenhills; Mullet skirt - Shoppesville; Bag - Coach (gift from Nikko); Pumps - Sophisticat Shoes

I wanted a loose but still girly get-up for my first day of school.

I really love mullet skirts!

One of my favorite bags. Coach is love! Thank you so much, Nikko for spoiling me! <3

Borawan Island, Kwebang Lampas and Dampalitan Beach

Day 2 of our Padre Burgos, Quezon trip:

Our group went island-hopping last Sunday. We went to three different Quezon islands: Borawan Island, Kwebang Lampas, and Dampalitan Island. Each island was uniquely beautiful! So proud of these virgin beaches of Quezon.

Borawan Island had pretty rock formations. I think they named it Borawan 'cause of Boracay and Palawan. Haha.

My love!

Puting Buhanging / Kwebang Lampas had crystal clear blue water, fine white sand and a cave.

Padre Burgos, Quezon

I've heard a lot of nice things about Padre Burgos, Quezon particularly the Borawan Island, Puting Buhangin or Kwebang Lampas, and the Dampalitan Island. Last weekend, my favorite cousins from the father side (Robles) went there to go swimming, have fun, and bond. Even though it's just around two hours away from our hometown, Sariaya, it was my first time to go there.

We stayed at the Tamarind Tree, an over-priced, so-so resort, which had very limited amenities and a not so very accommodating owner/operator. Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun 'cause of the company.

Here are some photos of Day 1 (Saturday):
Bikini from Greenhills, I've had this since college!

Love this photo!

And another one. Slippers from Abercrombie and Fitch

The next day, we went island hopping. Will post photos again tomorrow. :)

Fate

Tonight, I went out with Nikko 'cause his relatives from the States invited us to dinner. We had dinner at Something's Fishy, Eastwood. It was my first time to meet Nikko's uncle and aunt from the States but I was already able to meet their 7-year old son, Jordan Oip before. Three years ago, when I visited my own relatives in California, I met Jordan. My uncle there runs a day care center and I didn't know that one of the kids there was Nikko's cousin! It was only when I saw a list of the kids who were in the day care, that was posted on the fridge that I found out that Jordan is Nikko's cousin. Talk about fate.

So this is what I wore:

Mullet Dress - Shoppesville; Shoes - made by Nikko; Bag - BCBG
I like this photo a lot but it's blurry.

It's my good friend, Ice!!! I saw her on our way to Something's Fishy!

Too bad I wasn't able to take photos of me and Jordan 'cause he fell asleep even before dinner.

Denim Skirt

I went out to get a massage today with Nikko. Thus, I wore just some simple, laid-back clothes. I noticed that my favorite denim skirt from Juicy Couture is getting tighter and tighter.

Here are some outfit photos:

Random pink shirt; Vest - Hong Kong; Skirt - Juicy Couture; Shoes - Mobi Red; Bag - Juicy Couture

I got these shoes on sale! So cheap!

Peanut Butter and Elvis

I'm a sucker for bacon, good peanut butter and bananas so Peanut Butter & Co.'s Elvis, The King sandwich is a dream come true. Nikko and I had some the other day at the Katipunan branch and I've been craving for it since yesterday.

Cold Light Day

Last night, I went out with Nikko to watch a movie. We picked Cold Light Day because we wanted some action and some Bruce Willis. Apparently, Bruce Willis was only present in the first 15 minutes of the film. It was a so-so movie, with a very predictable plot.

I wore this outfit:

Blouse - Shoppesville; Pants - Metticulozza Collections; Shoes - Nine West; Bag - Prada Necklace - Sari Sari

Thesis it.

Yesterday, I went to school to research for my 50-page Juris Doctor (JD) thesis, which is due on June 18. I'm lucky to have found a topic that really interests me but even though that's the case, to date, I still have to accomplish 25 more pages.

My topic is on the principle of non-discrimination with regard to the citizenship of an adopted child of a Filipino and the citizenship of a minor child of a naturalized or repatriated Filipino citizen. When a foreign child is adopted by a Filipino citizen, the child doesn't follow the Filipino citizenship of his or her adopter. However, a minor legitimate, illegitimate, or adopted child of a naturalized or repatriated Filipino citizen follows the citizenship of such Filipino citizen upon filing a petition and paying filing fees. I just find it discriminating and I believe that the adopted child should also be given the same opportunity.

Anyway, my outfit yesterday was composed of an animal-printed sleeveless blouse, black jeans and clogs. Here are some outfit photos:

Blouse - gift from my Mom; Jeans - gift from Tita Gina; Clogs - So! Fab; Bag- Prada; Necklace - Boracay

Powerplant Mall's always a good place to take outfit photos 'cause of the lighting. Haha.
