Happy 26th Birthday to my Love!

Happy Birthday to the guy I'm willing to be placed under house arrest with, the guy I'd be willing to give nth chances, the guy I dedicate all the happy love songs to, the guy I remember upon watching romantic comedies and reading love stories, the guy I'm going to live happily after with.

The Salubong

I’m not much of a cook but for Nikko’s birthday, I wanted to make him feel special and so I tried to surprise him by making some Cajun themed dinner. I prepared and cooked everything by myself but with advice from my dad, mom and brother. I made Cajun Shrimps with Sausage Fried Rice and Banana Walnut Cheesecake for dessert. My brother helped me set up a dinner table at the poolside of our building. Thank God, I was successful!

The Birthday

We left Manila at 10am, had lunch at Sonya’s Garden and then looked for a boat that would take us to Taal Volcano (Thanks to Tito Toke and Tita Connie for the advice!). The road to Talisay, Batangas, where the boats were was very steep and it took us a little more than 30 minutes to get there. The boat ride from Talisay to the island was another 25 minutes. When we got there, we decided to ride horses going up to see the crater ‘cause it was already late afternoon. The view up there was magnificent. I haven’t seen anything quite like it.
Last was dinner at Rose and Grace. We missed Bulalo so much that we left nothing but the bone.

The amazing view.
Every time it’s Nikko’s birthday, I feel like it’s my birthday also. Haha. Thanks again for today's adventure, Love! Happy Birthday! ♥

I got my semi-heelless shoes last Monday and I’ve been wearing it to school since then. They were designed by renowned fashion designer Rajo Laurel for SM’s shoe line, Parisian. I spent a lot of time thinking which design and color should I be getting first ‘cause everything there was just beautiful. My mom told me to get the red ones ‘cause I don’t have a lot of red shoes.

The shoes are really comfortable. I can wear them all day without my feet getting sore.

I heard the shoes are limited so better grab a pair now. I can't wait to buy my second pair.

19th Defense & Sporting Arms Show (Part 2)

My dad is addicted to firearms and when it’s time for this semi-annual show, he makes us (my mom, brother and Nikko) tag along. Usually the first one's in July and the last is in November.

We always make this choo-choo train with my dad. It pisses him off sometimes. Haha.

She's from Israel and she's just 22 years old. She trains Air Force Officers. Wow!

If you're also into firearms, you might want to check out Advance Weapon Systems in Shoppesvill, Greenhills. They have really cool stuff. :)

Last Monday Night

My friend, Ginger celebrated her birthday with a Halloween party at their mansion in Alabang. I decided to go as Kathy Beth Terry or Katy Perry in her Last Friday Night music video not only because I like Katy Perry but also because almost everything she wore could be found in my closet.

My outfit comprises of an improvised top, custom-made skirt, plastic earrings and Paris Hilton shoes. Too bad I couldn't paint one of my shoes yellow.

Of course, my boyfriend had to match my outfit and so I told him to dress up as a nerd (Everett McDonald, Kathy Beth Terry's love interest in the same music video)
Kevin McHale as Everett McDonald

The birthday girl was Wonder Woman for the night. I really missed you, Gingerpie!

Hope everyone had an interesting Halloween! :)
