Candy Colors and Flats

You should know by now that I love high heels. Even though they're not always very comfortable to wear, I like how they make girls look sexier and more confident. But despite my love for heels, there are really those times when I'm not in the mood to be wearing them and I succumb to flats, instead.

Top from Aeropostale
Skirt from the kid's section of a department store
Bag from Prada
Shoes from Keds
I got this pair of Keds from an outlet store in the States, many years ago (when Mischa Barton was still its endorser)

Dressing up like this makes me feel like I'm a little girl again.

Candy colors! I love how my shoes and skirt somewhat match.

Date with the boyfriend.

It Must Have Been Love

Last month, I worked on a group project, with five of my classmates for our Legal Forms class. We made a 10-minute movie, entitled "It Must Have Been Love" and below is the DVD cover that my groupmate, Mikee made.

See, law school is not all about boring stuff. Haha.

Pho Hoa: Going Vietnamese

I'm not a sucker for Asian food but since my dad is one, I've learned to love some Asian cuisines. One of the Asian restaurants we go to is Pho Hoa, a Vietnamese restaurant, which has branches not only in the country but also in other parts of the world (USA, Canada, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Macau).

This is what I always get:

Pho Ga: Chicken Noodle Soup

Caramelized Chicken Drummettes

We also order this for sharing:

Fresh Spring Rolls (Shrimp and Pork)

Some Pho Hoa restaurants are connected to My Thai restaurants (probably they have the same owner) and thus, you can also order from My Thai.

Buffet 101

Last Sunday, my family (mother's side) and I celebrated my cousin, Janelle's 8th birthday. We had a sumptuous buffet feast at Buffet 101, a restaurant in the Mall of Asia complex.

This is what I wore:

Orange dress from Chase
Black Corset Belt from a bazaar
Skeleton Pumps from Pill

Buffet 101: The basics of buffet... and a whole lot more!

Buffet 101 boasts a wide variety of food in a luxurious setting. The experience was similar to the one I had in Vikings.

I was too busy picking out food that's why I wasn't able to take photos of them. Haha. Maybe next time, I'll make a more detailed entry.

Red + Animal Print is Love.

I went out with the boyfriend earlier to watch This Means War (A spy-comedy directed by the great McG and starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy) in Eastwood. The movie was really funny and it reminded me of and made me miss Chuck, my all-time favorite TV show (well, McG produced/directed Chuck, too, maybe that's why).

This is what I wore:

Dress worn as a top from Undernourished Manila (gift from my mom)
Forever 21 leggings
Nine West Bag
Rajo for Parisian shoes

I wore this dress for a photo shoot two years ago. Shall post the final photos soon.

Thank you for taking my outfit photos today, Love.

Something Corporate

Today, we had our last Legal Forms class. Our law professor wanted for us to take a class picture and so I wore my best business attire. To those of you who think fashion and law school don't really click, I suggest you visit the Ateneo Law School.

I like this photo a lot because looking at it makes me feel that I'm already a lawyer. Haha.

My dad, a lawyer, insisted that I should have this suit made, when he brought me with him to his tailor. The polo inside's also tailor-made and I specifically wanted it to be pink because of Elle Woods. The shoes are those Skeleton pumps I got last December.

Meet my block: Ateneo Law School's 3B

Of course, there will always be a wacky shot.

Some of my friends.

And my pretty best friend in law school, Kathy

Pink Alarm by IN2IT

I bought this really cool lipstick by IN2IT in PCX, Powerplant last week. I wanted something different, something bright since I've always been a red and brown lipstick wearer.

IN2IT's Moisture Intense Lipstick (Pink Alarm). It's really affordable (only P375). Actually, I was planning to buy MAC's Pink Nouveau (which would have cost me a thousand bucks) and it's really good I found this one.

Another good thing about this lipstick is that it lasts really long.

And of course, it's very striking.

I've been wearing it everyday and I've been receiving a lot of compliments about it. Certainly, my best purchase last February! :)
