Last night, my boyfriend and I saw Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis) in 3D. We usually don't like watching 3D movies because the glasses make the movies darker. But we had no choice.

Originally, we were going to watch In Time (Starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde) because I wanted to get some Halloween costume ideas for a party today from the movie (and of course because the plot's interesting and the cast's wonderful). But tickets were sold out already so we had to pick another one.

I was wearing boots when I saw Puss in Boots. Haha.

I got this pair for an incredibly low price in Shoe Center, Ali Mall two days ago.

Puss in Boots was really cute. It's really great how they were able to intertwine stories of different fairy tale / nursery rhyme characters.

Excited to post Halloween photos! :) Happy Halloween, everyone!

Last Tuesday, we went to SM Mall of Asia to watch Real Steel (starring Hugh Jackman) at the IMAX Theater. Kris Aquino, Josh, Baby James, and around 16 of their staff were with us in the theater. The movie is really something that both kids and adults would enjoy. If you haven't seen it, I suggest you catch it in IMAX also.

This is what I wore:

I wore a blouse given to me my aunt from the States and a pair of jeans. Shoes are made by my awesome boyfriend who is in the business of shoe manufacturing.

Got this bag from Michael Kors in the States two years ago.

Before the movie, we ate at K.K.K, a restaurant that serves yummy Filipino food.

In Morse Code, 88 means "love and kisses". In Mathematics, it represents dual infinity. There are 88 keys in a piano and 88 constellations in the sky. Happy 88th, Nikko! ♥ You are the star and music in my life. Infinity with you sounds awesome!

It was our 88th monthsary yesterday and Nikko took me to the Newport Performing Arts Theater at Resorts World Manila to catch the Manila production of The Sound of Music. The Sound of Music with Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer is one of my all-time favorite movies. I remember there was even one summer when I was watching the movie everyday. I loved the character of Liezl, the eldest daughter and I used to imagine being 16-going-on-17. Nikko was able to see the full movie only recently (around three weeks ago) and he fell in love with it, too.

This is what I wore:

It was an amazing show and the actors were really wonderful! Cris Villonco played the part of Fraulein Maria very well and she talked and sang exactly the way Julie Andrews did. Jon Joven, as Captain Von Trapp was equally great. The Von Trapp children were also very good and so were all the other supporting actors and the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra. Plus, the set design was magnificent. The production’s really comparable to some of New York’s Broadway shows.

The show will run until December 11, 2011. Tickets range from P1000 to P2000 and I assure you that it’s going to be worth it. Joanna Ampil and Audie Gemora also play the parts of Fraulein Maria and Captain Von Trapp respectively.

It was just pure magic. Thank you so much, Nikko for making me so happy. <3
