Guess?

I've always wanted to be a print ad model but I couldn't jeopardize my high school and college studies just to go through all the go-sees and stuff. At the start of my college years, I tried, but they would always conflict with my schedule, particularly exams, and I was also having a hard time with my Math course so I decided to give up the dream. That's why the only modeling I did in college was in the summer of 2009 (the least busy part of my college years), for a friend, Mikko Victorino, who was then a multimedia arts student in De La Salle - College of St. Benilde. It was for a project in a fashion class and he had to make some kind of a print ad for a fashion brand.

Law school, even though is very, very difficult, is a different story altogether. After adjusting, I realized that I needed some outlet for my creative juices. Modeling for photographers has been relaxing. Haha. Also, it's good I met my agent, who gave me my first print ad .

Here are some photos from my very first "modeling" stint:

Thanks so much, Mikko! Haha.

Sunflowers

Today, I went out to Shoppesville and Virra Mall, Greenhills with my parents to go shopping (I got a new pair of sandals from Pab Der! Thanks, Daddy!). I wore an old sleeveless shirt, some colorful harem pants I got from Hong Kong, my orange BCBG bag, a turquoise choker necklace from Girl Shoppe, some bangles, and my blue VNC wedges that I got in Malaysia.

Blouse - Shoppesville; Pants - Hong Kong; Bag - BCBG; Shoes - VNC Malaysia; Necklace - Girl Shoppe;

The background matches my pants! Haha. :)

Necklace from Girl Shoppe.

Bag from BCBG Girls; Some bangles

I love rosettes on clothes and accessories! I also love satin 'cause it's elegant.

Shoes - VNC Malaysia; Perfect for summer!

My shoes are open-toed by the way, just in case you were wondering.

Dem Jeans

I had a photo shoot with a group of wonderful photographers (Jan Celiz-Magtoto, Marco Borromeo, Ariel Raule and Chino Dizon) in March. The theme was "Dem Jeans" and I had to wear fierce make-up, which was done by LJ Joya.

I never expected the photos to turn out to be as beautiful. I was really in awe when I saw the final output. Thank God, I met these really cool photographers who were also very nice and friendly.

Here are my favorite photos taken by Jan Celiz-Magtoto of Labski Fotografi. You can also check out her wonderful write-up about me in her site.

Next, are my favorite photos by stylist/photographer Marco Borromeo:

The next three photos are my favorite shots by Ariel Raule.

 And finally, my favorite photos taken by Chino Dizon of Shutters and Mirrors.

Black to Basics

I went to my school today to settle my class's account with the photocopying company. My mom accompanied me and we had dinner in Healthy Shabu Shabu, Powerplant Mall after. I decided to wear mostly black today 'cause I wanted to wear the Katy Skeleton Heels that we have in our Sophisticat Shoes. I wore this pair of black pants, my black Prada bag, black bangles and charms, and a loose gray blouse.

Blouse - a store in Shoppesville;
Pants - Forever 21;
Shoes - Sophisticat Shoes
Bag - Prada;
Bangles - Gifts from my Mommy

I love this bag a lot because it's simple and wearable anywhere!

The bangles set an '80's feel.

I'm so proud of this design! :)

Love this shot!

Order now!

Hello!

And a shot inside the mall. Haha.

"We are all fairies living underneath a leaf of a lily pad." -- Tori Amos

Like I said, Seven Barretto is the one of the best (if not the best) fashion photographers in the country! Here are some other photos taken by him last year.

The dress is by one of Manila's best designers and my most favorite fashion designer, Larry Espinosa. I wore this to my high school graduation ball many years ago.

Portrait

My high school friend, CJ de Silva gave this painting to me on my 18th birthday. CJ, a Promil kid is a member of the Philippine Association for the Gifted (PAG). I wouldn't be surprised if she's named National Artist.
