Guess?

I've always wanted to be a print ad model but I couldn't jeopardize my high school and college studies just to go through all the go-sees and stuff. At the start of my college years, I tried, but they would always conflict with my schedule, particularly exams, and I was also having a hard time with my Math course so I decided to give up the dream. That's why the only modeling I did in college was in the summer of 2009 (the least busy part of my college years), for a friend, Mikko Victorino, who was then a multimedia arts student in De La Salle - College of St. Benilde. It was for a project in a fashion class and he had to make some kind of a print ad for a fashion brand.

Law school, even though is very, very difficult, is a different story altogether. After adjusting, I realized that I needed some outlet for my creative juices. Modeling for photographers has been relaxing. Haha. Also, it's good I met my agent, who gave me my first print ad .

Dem Jeans

I had a photo shoot with a group of wonderful photographers (Jan Celiz-Magtoto, Marco Borromeo, Ariel Raule and Chino Dizon) in March. The theme was "Dem Jeans" and I had to wear fierce make-up, which was done by LJ Joya. 

I never expected the photos to turn out to be as beautiful. I was really in awe when I saw the final output. Thank God, I met these really cool photographers who were also very nice and friendly.

Queen of the Jungle

Last month, in one of my posts, I talked about how I went out with my boyfriend wearing the same dress that I'm wearing in these photos and I mentioned that I wore it to a photo shoot a few years ago.

That fresh, no make-up look

I was invited by make-up artist Micah Castro, late last year to do a shoot with her for her portfolio. The photographer, JR Velasquez, is also a chef. I love how she did that fresh, no make-up look.

Little Black Dress

The following photos are from my shoot with talented fashion photographer Geo Esguerra, last year. He's one of the nicest I've worked with and I hope I can work with him again.

The dress is a gift from my mom (she bought it in Rockwell), while those Marks and Spencer shoes are from my Tita Angel, who is based in UK.

Exposure

I had an interesting day, yesterday. I had a photo shoot with a team of four photographers at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife in Quezon City. It was really fun and exciting because the photographers had different ideas and approaches.

Also, while I was wearing, heavy make-up, I was randomly interviewed for Winnie Monsod's TV Show in GMANewsTV. They asked me stuff about concubinage, adultery and bigamy, which are familiar concepts because of my law studies. It was good I still remember the elements of each crime and so I had something to say, but I still feel that I'm really going to make a fool out of myself on national TV. Haha.
