Maxi Skirt

Today is Black Saturday and we gathered as a family at my paternal grandparents' house in Lucena City. I wore this gold tube top from Glitterati and the green maxi skirt that I got from Hong Kong, which was really perfect for the weather.

I can truly feel summer now.

Hello, family!

Good Friday

So, today is Good Friday and I participated in the procession. I woke up earlier than usual 'cause we were going to prepare for it. Every year, our family sets up the Black Nazarene statue and we would walk along with it.

Good Friday processions are really special to my family 'cause it's somewhat where my parents first saw each other. Even though my paternal and maternal great grandparents were close friends (my maternal great grandmother is even the godmother of my paternal grandmother!), my parents didn't really know each other 'cause they went to different schools. It was through one of those Good Friday processions in the same town where my dad first saw my mom and after that he courted her.

It was a really sunny afternoon and it was perfect for my outfit photo shoot. This is what I wore:

Top - from Greenhills
Jeans - Forever 21
Sunglasses - Giorgio Armani

I love wearing sunglasses but the pair here is actually my brother's. I forgot to bring any of my shades here in Quezon.

Sandals - Banana Republic

Of course, there would always be a full/whole body shot.

So many photos that I like!

:)

And yes, I had to take photos without the sunglasses.

Here's a photo of the procession:

Visita Iglesia

It has been a tradition for my family to do the Visita Iglesia every Maundy Thursday. This year, we visited seven different churches in the town of Sariaya and the city of Lucena.

This is what I wore:

Black tube dress worn as a top - DKNY;
Vest - Hong Kong;
Jeans - Her Bench
Clogs - So! Fab

I decided to curl my hair 'cause I was kind of bored that afternoon.

This pair of local jeans is actually my favorite because it fits me perfectly!

Hello!

So that you would know what my inner top looks like, I also took some photos.

And here are some photos during the Visita Iglesia itself:

I'm always fascinated with how beautiful churches are!

My mom and dad praying together.

That's me in front of St. Francis Church in Sariaya, Quezon. If I'm not mistaken, this Church is one of the oldest in the country.

To those of you who haven't tried doing the Visita Iglesia, I suggest you start next year. It's really one fulfilling experience.

Yellow Bells

It's my second day in our Quezon home and I basically did nothing but admire the plants and trees around me.

I like yellow bells a lot! They look so pretty!

Making that goofy face.

Dress - I can't remember where I got this dress from. Prolly some bazaar.
Sandals - Banana Republic (They're actually my mom's but I borrowed it just for the trip).

A Day in the Life

I went to visit my paternal grandma in Lucena City today. The last time I saw her was in December so I was really excited to see her. Of course, before leaving the house, I had my brother take some outfit photos. I had to take advantage of the nice weather and the scenery.

Bag - '90's Prada Bag that my Daddy bought me

Sheer Blouse - Greenhills

I did my own make-up using Sephora eyeshadow and lip gloss.

Thank God, I have a really patient brother! Haha.

Shorts from my Kuya Totoy and Ate Gina (HK)

This is our loghouse in Quezon.

LOL.

Miniature Pinscher

I'm really scared of dogs but when I saw this cute little one in our Quezon home, I immediately wanted to play with it.

Isn't she cute?
We still have to name her. Any suggestions?

Happy Birthday, Mansy and Alex!

After the children's party I went to yesterday, I went to my high school friend Mansy's birthday party with Nikko and some of the Jboys, Ron, Kenn and Aulvin. She's one of my closest friends and I wouldn't have missed her party for the world.

Thank you for everything, Mansy! I love you!

Then, the same group went to Alex's party at The Roadhouse in Manila Bay. Alex just graduated from the Ateneo Law School and he has been like a mentor (hahaha) to me, giving me tips, reviewers, and stuff for law school.

Happy Birthday, Alex! :)
P.S. I'm already in Quezon for the Holy Week.
